Accommodation

For this years conference AWMS was able to secure a contingent of rooms including breakfast at the University College of the University of Melbourne. This accommodation option is only a 15 min walk from the conference venue. The University College is also the venue for the Conference Dinner (Wed., 6 Dec 2023). University College is a peaceful residential haven close to the University of Melbourne. It is set amongst landscaped gardens and has a friendly, informal atmosphere. It is also only a short, ten minute tram or taxi ride into Melbourne’s CBD and a short stroll to the famous and vibrant Lygon Street in Carlton, which is a suburb known for its restaurants, cafes and cosmopolitan lifestyle. Many of Melbourne’s most famous attractions are conveniently close to University College, and can be easily accessed by public transport (bus, tram and train).

After registering for the conference, details on how to book the rooms will be send to you with your registration confirmation.
